Jordan Karabinov – MBA, ACCA, CIA, Managing Partner of JK&Partners, Chairman of the Board of the IIA Bulgaria

He has earned a bachelor degree in Business Administration from the American University in Bulgaria in 1997.

He has started his professional career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Sofia in 1997.

In 2001 he has moved to The Netherlands where he worked as an internal audit manager for Alcatel-Lucent, General Electric and ArvinMeritor. For the last three organizations he has performed internal audits and fraud investigations in 14 countries in Europe, USA and Australia. Mr. Karabinov has earned in 2004 an MBA degree from IMD, Switzerland.

In 2009 Mr. Karabinov has moved back to Bulgaria as a Managing Partner of JK&Partners, which offers services in the area of internal audit and risk management. He is also a lecturer in Risk Management and Fraud Prevention.

To date he has delivered more than 30 separate trainings to more than 500 participants from the corporate and government sector.

Since 2013 Mr. Karabinov is the Chairman of the Board of the Institute of Internal Auditors in Bulgaria. He was reelected for a second consecutive term in 2016.
